The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD
Well…the only major release this week is…this. While I can’t say it’s undeserving of an HD remaster, I do find the choice to release *only* Skyward Sword during the 35th Anniversary Year of a Zelda a bit perplexing, considering the other, less divisive games that could’ve been remastered, or even multiple as part of a collection like the Super Mario 3D All Stars collection that released last year. To me, with the controls not being properly optimized for the Switch, as well as its $60 price tag, the same price as “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild,” I find it difficult to find anything about this port that feels necessary or worth it. Is that mean? Maybe, but it’s also Nintendo so they’ll sell millions of copies and I’m sure I’ll cave and buy it eventually because I am a *hypocrite*.
